Bowie at the Beeb：變色龍在BBC電台

David Bowie離世之後，我再次購買他的唱片，是《Bowie at the Beeb》這套他的The BBC Radio Sessions 68-72精選之4LP box set。 

《Bowie at the Beeb》本為在2000年8月出版，當年只有以CD形式發行——除了2CD版外，還有限量3CD版，另加一張《BBC Radio Theatre, London, June 27, 2000》現場演出專輯。差不多16年之後，《Bowie at the Beeb》直到上月才首度發行成為黑膠唱片。

《Bowie at the Beeb》是Bowie在1968至72年的BBC Radio Sessions現場演出精選，包括有來自John Peel、Dave Lee Travis、Andy Ferris、Bob Harris等主播的節目之表演，記載了Bowie由早年的60’s pop / Baroque-pop到樹立起其glam rock風骨的演進。

在這套Bowie的BBC Radio Sessions精選裡，我們可以聽到他早年在The Tony Visconti Orchestra伴奏下的演出；在The Sunday Show introduced by John Peel和In Concert: John Peel這兩個節目的歌曲表演間，可聽到John Peel的介紹與他跟Bowie的訪問，而在後者當中所玩出的〈Looking for a Friend〉是Bowie曇花一現的樂隊Arnold Corns作品但從沒有出版過；在Sounds of the 70s: Bob Harris裡是Bowie與Mick Ronson以二人形式玩出〈The Superman〉和〈Eight Line Poem〉，相當之棒的acoustic版；而4個在1972年的演出全是帶來David Bowie and The Spiders from Mars陣容。 

購來了《Bowie at the Beeb》的黑膠唱片版，忽然想起我也收藏了一些當年它的別緻宣傳用非賣品出品，如設計成open reel盒子的8曲sampler CD，還有《Bowie at the Beeb》的打火機。
